About the Massage

Kobido is a traditional Japanese facial massage that combines deep relaxation with a lifting effect. Developed over 500 years ago, it remains popular for its quickly visible results.

Literally translated, Kobido means “the path to eternal beauty” – a philosophy reflected in this highly effective massage technique. It firms the skin, smooths out fine wrinkles, and supports natural skin regeneration.

For lasting results, we recommend regular treatments – ideally every 2 weeks.

Kobido is not recommended shortly after cosmetic procedures in the facial area. If you’re unsure, it’s best to consult with your doctor.

How the Massage Proceeds

The treatment is performed on a massage table in a calming atmosphere and lasts 60 minutes. The therapist focuses mainly on the face but also treats the neck and décolletage using rhythmic movements, gentle pinching, stroking, vibrations, and deeper pressure techniques.

The session begins with makeup removal and skin cleansing. The therapist then releases tension in the neck and shoulder area, followed by a dynamic massage of the facial muscles and ending with a gentle lymphatic drainage to detoxify the skin. The result is instantly revitalized, firmer, and glowing skin with a natural lifting effect. The entire session is finished with a short head massage without the use of oil.

The procedure is intensive yet very pleasant – while it may cause slight discomfort in some areas, the results are truly worth it.
